Call for Startup Fundraising & Entrepreneurship Training RESI@Taiwan


The Biomedical Commercialization Center (BMCC) has organized a special event with RESI (Redefining Early Stage Investments) conference to feature Taiwan teams/companies at the 2019 January RESI in San Francisco in a Taiwan Luncheon. At the same time, BMCC has negotiated a special discount fee for standard partnering at RESI to teams from Taiwan.  In order to select teams most appropriate for the pitch presentation in a Taiwan Luncheon at RESI conference, we have invited the CEO and the Vice President of Life Science Nation (the organizer of RESI) for a boot camp in Zhubei on October 16th and a follow-up one-on-one consultation for 20 selected teams on Oct. 17th and 18th. We extend our warmest invitation to teams and companies to participate in three events relating to RESI.

At the 2019 RESI SF, the BMCC will be hosting an amazing Taiwan Luncheon at the Marine’s Memorial Theatre. Apart from a 10-minute introduction of Taiwan’s Biomedical Ecosystem, we would like to feature 12 talented startups to showcase your innovation in a Taiwan Pitch Session. This is a tremendous opportunity to impress and attract investors. 12 presenting teams/companies will be selected based on application/pitch deck to the October 16-18 Entrepreneur Boot camp (Companies do not need to register for RESI to participate in the luncheon).

The Redefining Early Stage Investments (RESI) Conference is an ongoing conference series that provides an international venue for early stage life science companies across Biotech, Medtech, Diagnostics and Healthcare IT and to source investors from around the globe, create relationships, and eventually, secure funding.
