Overview

  • Chest pain/discomfort is often thought as symptom for myocardial infarction or coronary heart disease, and pushes many to seek emergency medical care. Traditional diagnosis method takes 6 hours to confirm and emergency room congestion incurs.
  • Based on the basis of magnetocardiography research, developed a non-forced multi-channel ECG detection system
  • A rapid diagnosis can be completed in just 10-15 minutes, reduces hospital observation and medical resource consumption

Development Process

During the incubation program completed a multi-channel ECG detection prototype and TFDA IRB clinical approval, currently undergoing human clinical trial and in March 9, 2020 formed MECG BIOTECHNOLOGY LTD.

Milestones

2020
  • Formed MECG BIOTECHNOLOGY LTD.
  • Collaborates with Taipei Veteran’s Hospital and Far Eastern Memorial Hospital.
2018
  • Admission to the MOST’s Nursery Program.
  • Won Future Technology Award.
  • Collaborates with NCU Department of Biomedical Sciences and Engineering and NCTU Graduate Department of Photonics.
